The center main type is an ambigram. On the Sun king side up, it reads 'Illusion'. On the Moon Queen side up, it reads 'Magic'.

Illusion alludes to the ornaments around the center piece that conceal messages. The letterforms are deliberately designed to be very vague. On the Sun King side up, it reads 'Wonder'. On the Moon Queen side up, it reads 'Amazed'.

Magic points to the fact that this artwork can be view upside down or right side up. With each orientation, the design shows a different meaning.
